Shelby CIC ready to implement Downtown Revitalization plan

Through the help of grants and generous donations, this public-private partnership between the city and the CIC is ready to bring the first two parts of the project to fruition. CIC first adopted the forward-thinking Shelby Revitalization and Placemaking Plan, created by the EDGE Group, in 2019. The City of Shelby is currently completing a sewer line upgrade on Main Street prior to the start of the streetscape construction, which will begin this fall and is anticipated to be completed next summer.
