Chamber announces Small Business of the Year finalists

RICHLAND COUNTYTHE Board of Directors and Small Business of the Year Committee of the Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development will soon be honoring and celebrating all small businesses and naming the 2021 Small Business of the Year Recipients. Winners will be announced at a luncheon to be held at Kingwood Center Gardens on December 10. Each finalist will be featured in a short video highlighting their business, sponsored by Mechanics Bank.

Presented by Medical Mutual, the awards will be given to the Small Business of the Year with 15 and more employees and 14 and fewer employees.

Finalists in the 14 and fewer employee category are The Boot Life, The Phoenix Brewing Company, and Sluss Realty Company.

Finalists in the 15+ employee category are ES Consulting, Schmidt Security Pro and Terra Vally Excavating.

The non-profit winner, Visual Bucket List Foundation, has already been announced and will receive their award during the presentation.

In addition to the finalists, semi-finalists include Blueberry Patch & 1285 Winery, Eberts Heating & Cooling, Global Medical Foam, Mirror Image, New Directions EAP & Counseling Center, Richland Sealcoating Company, Sentec Systems, Shaw & Ott Medical, Snow Trails Ski Resort, Spyder Signs, Weldon Huston &

Keyser, Wilging Meats and Wilson Dental.

In addition to the winner, non-profit finalists include Altrusa of Mansfield, Community Action for Capable Youth, Domestic Violence Shelter, Humane Society of Richland County, NAMI of Richland County and Raemelton Therapeutic Equestrian Center.
