Shelby and following his GPS to Marvin Avenue and accidentally turned westbound onto the railroad tracks thinking it was Marvin Avenue. An additional officer arrived and observed an open alcohol beverage in the cup holder of the back seat. The alcohol was seized by the officer and drug paraphernalia was also observed. The occupants were questioned about the paraphernalia and the driver claimed ownership. The driver was issued a summons for drug paraphernalia and one of the passengers was issued summons for open container and drug paraphernalia.

The Shelby Fire Department pulled the vehicle off the tracks.

Tobacco offense, Nov. 17, 9:25 a.m. - A student at Pioneer Career and Technology Center was caught vaping. The suspect had been charged and suspended previously for the same violation, noted the report. The suspect would be issued another summons to appear in court when he returns to school from suspension.

Both vehicles were northbound on Mansfield Avenue stopped at the red light at the intersection of Morningside Drive. When the light turned green, Tackett accelerated first and led to a rear-end collision with Sentivany.

No damage was observed or reported and no citations were listed. Disorderly person, Nov, 17, 4:53 p.m. - Police responded to a Marvin Avenue address for a report of an unruly juvenile.

The officer spoke to the complainant who advised her 16-year-old son was having an anger outburst and had thrown around the garage and house and called the complainant several vulgar names. The officer spoke with the juvenile for about an hour before getting him to calm down. The officers provided the juvenile with multiple ideas of coping mechanisms to help with stress and anger outbursts.

Warrant service, Nov. 17, 10:05 p.m. - Police received a 9-1-1 transfer call from the sheriff’s office. Dispatch stated they could hear someone in the background, but did not get any type of communication. The line dropped and another call was received. Both calls were mapping in the area of Raymond Avenue and West Main Street. There was no call back number for the calls and police were dispatched to the area. Attempts to locate the caller were unsuccessful. During the search an individual was found to have a warrant and was arrested. The subject was then transported to and transferred into the custody of the Crestline Police Department.
