Seniors receive almost $300,000 in scholarships

Shelby High School held an assembly to present qualifying 2022 graduates with scholarships. Last Friday, close to $300,000 was awarded to 50 seniors who worked hard and completed the sometimes competitive and complicated application process. Principal John Gies opened the assembly by congratulating the class of 2022 on all their hard work. He then thanked the scholarship presenters for providing these opportunities for the seniors. The following is a list of all seniors that were awarded scholarships during the assembly, what organization provided the scholarship, and the amount.
