PHS girls eliminated

GALION — Mohawk halted Plymouth’s postseason run Thursday by capturing an 11-6 win Thursday in the Division IV District softball championship game.

The Lady Big Red conclude the year with a 13-10 record.

Makenzie Back was 3-for-3 with a triple and a double for Plymouth. Chloe Trine was 3-for4 with a double. Bree Fellows hit a double.

Bailey Sheets was the winning pitcher and she struck out six and walked five. Back took the loss and surrendered 12 hits while striking out seven and walking three.
